How long does shipping take?
We ship from our warehouse in London with delivery via Royal Mail and orders will be processed within 1 working day.
UK orders are usually delivered within 2 working days. In Europe this is typically 2-7 working days, with most countries at the lower end.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer standard Free Shipping in UK & Europe for all orders over £40 / €40. For all other countries please see shipping rates at checkout.
What is your return policy?
If you're not happy for any reason, we offer hassle-free returns within 30 days of purchase for items in their original condition.
Returns can be processed for a full refund or store credit. Please email us to request a return.
Are there additional import or custom fees for countries outside of the UK?
No, we ship everything with custom duties fully paid, meaning there’s no additional fees upon delivery.
Size & Fit
How do I choose the right size?
Our sizes are based on rough age guidance to make choosing easier: 1–2 years, 3–5 years, and 6-12 years.
If your child has a larger head or is growing quickly, we generally recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit and longer
wear.

What if I need a different size?
No problem, email us within 30 days of purchase to request an exchange for a different size. Just make sure the item is unused and in it’s original packaging for an exchange.
We can also provide guidance on how to adjust the sunglasses at home.
Is the snug fit padding comfortable?
Yes! The Snug Shield padding is made from soft, lightweight foam that sits gently against the face, creating a close fit without putting pressure on the skin. Many children find this more comfortable than standard sunglasses.
Should I choose snug fit or classic fit?
It depends on the level of protection your child needs, or how they like the glasses to feel on the face.
Snug Fit models include soft foam padding that sits gently against the face to help minimise gaps around the eye. This provides extra protection from wind, dust, glare and other airborne irritants, making them ideal for children who need more coverage or have sensitive eyes.
Classic Fit models are lightweight wraparound sunglasses designed for everyday wear. They provide excellent sun protection for general outdoor use.
Do you offer prescription lenses?
We don’t currently offer prescription lenses. Adding prescription lenses to wraparound styles is more complex due to the curved shape and fit required.
It’s something we are exploring for the future, but it isn’t available at the moment.
Care
How do I clean my snugsee glasses?
Wipe gently with the soft storage pouch which doubles as a cleaning cloth, or simply rinse with clean water.
All Snugsee lenses include anti-fog and anti-scratch coating, so we recommend avoiding soaps, sprays, or household cleaners as these can reduce the coating’s effectiveness.
For best results avoid rubbing the inside of the lenses when wet.
Can the sunglasses get wet?
Our sunglasses can get wet during normal use, such as rain, splashes or outdoor play. However Snug Fit models should not be submerged in water as this may cause damage to the EVA foam padding.
If the sunglasses get wet, let them air dry or gently pat them dry with a soft microfiber cloth. This will help keep the anti-fog coating working effectively for as long as possible.
How should I store them?
We recommend always storing your Snugsee glasses in the soft pouch provided when not in use to maximise their lifespan and help prevent damage.
Snugsee Charm Accessories
What age are the charms suitable for?
Snugsee Charms are suitable for children aged 3 and over. They are designed to fit securely onto all Snugsee frames, allowing kids to personalise their sunglasses with fun designs.
As charms contain small parts, they are not suitable for children under 3 years old due to a choking hazard. We recommend they are only used by older children with appropriate supervision.
How should I insert the charms for a secure fit?
Warm the frame (not the charm) around the hole on each side with a hair dryer for 15 seconds. This softens the frame briefly, making the charm easier to insert. Ensure not to heat the padded foam on Snug Fit models (we suggest wrapping the cloth bag supplied around the foam and lenses while heating).
Line up the post with the hole. Hold the sunglasses by the arm (not the front of the frame), then push the charm in slowly and firmly until it sits flush with the frame. To remove, pull gently from the back of the charm.
It’s recommended this is done by an adult. Using excessive force may cause damage to the charm or frame. Please see our product leaflet that's sent with your order for full instructions.
Can the charms be removed and swapped?
Yes. Snugsee Charms can be removed and swapped if you’d like to change the design. However, they are designed to have a secure fit, so we don’t recommend swapping them in and out frequently.
Regular removal may cause wear and tear over time and may damage the charm. It’s recommended they are removed and inserted by an adult using the hairdryer method above.
Do the charms fit on all snugsee sunglasses?
Yes. Snugsee Charms are designed in a standard size and are compatible with all Snugsee frames.
However, because they contain small parts, they are only recommended for children aged 3 and over due to a choking hazard.
